Abstract

756,969. Hydraulic rams. BLAKE, Ltd., J. Feb. 3, 1955 [Dec. 17, 1953], No. 25193/53. Class 102(2). In a hydraulic ram pump the delivery chamber 15 has, or communicates with, a vessel having a resilient wall portion. As shewn the chamber 15 communicates with a vessel 53 comprising a resilient rubber hose 54 which is closed at its outer end. Alternatively a vessel having a resilient wall in the form of a diaphragm or a cylinder having a spring loaded piston may be connected to the chamber 15 or the latter may be connected to the delivery pipe by a resilient tube.
