746,332. Hand supported polishing machines; floor polishing machines. JEFFREE, A. F. April 27, 1954, No. 12090/54. Classes 19 and 138(1) In a floor polishing machine of the type comprising two rotary polishers frictionally driven by the shaft of an electric motor the spindle of each polisher is mounted eccentrically with respect to its axis and the mounting may be rotated to and locked in any position in a range of positions whereby the pressure on the two sides of the motor shaft may be equalized. The locking is effected by clamping the base plate between a shoulder on the mounting and a member in threaded engagement with the mounting 6, 7. A long handle may be fitted in place of handle 12.
