A friction clutch disc 4 is connected to a flange 8 of a splined hub 7 through rubber blocks 15 or compression springs arranged in recesses in the flange 8, disc 4 and a plate 5 turning with disc 4 through bolts 6 passing through clearance holes in flange 8, while friction damping is provided by friction rings 17 interposed, adjacent the hub 7, between the flange 8 and the plates 4, 5, springs 18 arranged on the bolts 6 serving to maintain the rings 17 in contact.
