712,556. Seats. BURLINGHAM, Ltd., H. V., and PEDLEY, L. June 9, 1953 [June 10, 1952], No. 14540/52. Class 52(2) A seat particularly for vehicles is provided with a head rest which may be housed, in inoperative position, in a recess formed between the back squab and the back frame, the back squab being movable to permit moving of the head rest. As shown, the head rest 12 is hinged at 13 within a recess formed between the back frame and the squab 10 which is hinged at 10a. The back rest 12 has bearing surfaces 12a, 12b adapted to rest, when the rest 12 is in operative position, upon the upper parts of the squab and back frame.
