Abstract

An alkali-soluble protein for use in zinc-plating (see Group XXXVI) is extracted from a mixture of 60 parts soya flour, 40 parts sodium hydroxide and 600 parts water, which is refluxed for two hours, cooled to room temperature, allowed to stand for a day and then filtered.
