Abstract
622,896. Filing paper and like sheets. SHANNON, Ltd., and POSNER, B. B. April 16, 1947, No. 10137. [Class 146 (i)] A suspension rod for a folder formed with an open-ended channel at each upper edge through, which a rod is passed, is formed from a length of resilient wire 1, of metal, plastic or equivalent material, bent at each end into a U-shape 3 of width substantially equal to that of the channel, notches 5 for engagement with rails being formed by bending the free arm 4 of each U. One or more corrugations 2 may be formed in the wire to increase its rigidity. The arms 4 are slightly out of parallel with the main length of wire 1 so as to bear resiliently on the base of the channel to resist accidental re-. moval and the end 6 of each arm 4 is bent inwards to avoid fouling of the base of the channel.
