Abstract

603,677. Stillages. MOSTYN, T. T. Oct. 27, 1945, No. 28475. [Class 21] A stillage for a beer barrel comprises a swinging cradle 5 having bearings 6 which are slidably mounted on a rod or tube 4 supported at intervals by supports 3 on the floor, the rear end of the cradle having a spring 7 tending to tilt the cradle downwardly at the front against the action of a dash pot 8 and the front end of the cradle having a swinging strut 9 which limits its downward tilt. The cradle may be mounted off, or on, centre.
