A laboratory stand for supporting a flask or other container above a Bunsen burner comprises a tripod with telescopically adjustable legs 2, to the triangular top frame 1 of which is connected a circular platform 3 by means of a rod 9 to serve as a support for the Bunsen burner. The supporting surfaces may be other than triangular and circular and the stand may have more than three legs.
