603,186. Making grids and gratings. WARP, H. Oct. 18, 1945, No. 27321. Convention date, Jan. 11. [Class 83 (ii)] [Also in Group X] A sheet of metal or plastic material is louvred in dies to form sheets for use in window screens &c. A sheet 23 about 0.007 inches thick is provided with slits and the strips 20 so formed are twisted to about ninety degrees to the plane of the sheet. The connecting strips 22 may be corrugated or reinforced with a wire &c. The strips 20 are about one inch long and 0.0625 inches wide and may be curved in cross-section and arranged obliquely on the sheet.
