Abstract
5 9 9, 12 6. Knitting. WAHLE, O. March 7, 1939, No. 7438. [Class 74 (ii)] A hand knitting-needle is provided with an eye 3 or other weft retaining device at each end, these devices being connected by a longitudinal groove 5, so that knitting is performed around the .weft. By the use of the needle, a fabric'in which the unknitted weft 10 passes through each needle loop 11 in a number of successive or otherwise disposed courses is formed.
