Abstract

588,877. Two-part couplings. STOCK, E., and SKIPWORTH, P. March 8, 1945, No. 5816. [Class 38 (i)] In a bayonet-type lamp-holder adaptor with a one-piece insulating body a, the strain of the leads is taken by passing them round zigzag tracks on the exterior of the body. The lead m is passed through a hole o into the lower of three annular grooves d, e, f and along interconnecting vertical grooves i, g to the contact terminal s located in a hole q. A similar track is provided on the far side of the body for the other lead. The leads are retained by a rubber sleeve w forced over and located between shoulders u, v on the body.
