[Class 137] [Also in Group XXIX] A moisture dispersion device comprises a venturi nozzle a, the throat of which has apertures b and is surrounded by a moisture retainer c, e.g., of gauze, so that air passing through the venturi tube will suck moisture from the gauze. The device may be used to humidify the air stream or to disperse a germicide or to get rid of unwanted moisture in a refrigeration apparatus, as in Fig. 3, where a fan g sucks air through heating or cooling coils e and blows some of it through the venturi tube a, the condensed moisture from an evaporator unit being led by a feed pipe k to the surrounding gauze of the tube.
