Class 64(3) A stream of air produced in a duct 14, e.g. for drying crops, by a fan 13 driven by a water-jacketed, i.c. engine 12 is heated by a heater 21 in the duct, the heater being heated by water which continuously circulates in series through the heater 21, the engine water-jacket and a heat-exchanger 17 through which exhaust gases from the engine flow. The engine itself is also located in the duct 14.
