Abstract

562,103. Filters. . VOKES, C. G., STOKES, E. A., and VOKES, Ltd. Dec. 14, 1942, No. 17757. [Class 46] [Also in Group XXVIII] A filter is formed of two or more deeply pleated screens of closed-figure cross-section, and with tapered walls making a composite screen of zig-zag form in all planes through the axis. The screens may be enclosed between perforated walls 14. Alternative inlets may be provided. The screens may be removably supported on an axial rod 4. In the case of an air filter, the casing may be lined with sounddeadening material. Specification 507,762 is referred to.
