Abstract
566,986. Variable condensers. OXLEY, R. F. June 17, 1943, No. 9729. [Class 37] In a trimmer condenser of the type in which a disc A of high-permittivity material, such as a titanium dioxide ceramic, bearing an electrode coating E over, say, half of its upper surface is rotatable on a bolt C in respect of a base B of, say, porcelain, bearing a metal electrode coating F on its upper surface, a layer of low-permittivity glaze D is placed under the electrode E over the area normally covered by the head of the bolt C to reduce the minimum capacity.
