1388687 Variable capacitors R F OXLEY 11 April 1972 [7 May 1971] 13662/71 Heading H1M Rotor electrode 64 of a variable capacitor is embedded within its supporting ceramic disc 60 except for aperture 68 where electrical contact is made by metal layer 88. Electrode 64 may be titanium or palladium and stator electrode 70 may be silver coated on to ceramic disc 62 with a contact portion 74 extending over the edge.
