Abstract

566,203. Body-harness. HAYGARTH, J. April 20, 1943, No. 6304. [Class 141] [Also in Group XIV] A device which may be used for carrying luggage comprises a flexible band 1 adapted to pass over the shoulders of a wearer with adjustable suspending means at each end. The ends 3 of the band 1 may have stiffening members, and a cord attached to hook 10 passes through a tubular member 7 and through eyelets 4 in the ends of the band to one end of the member 7 so that the length of the suspending means may be adjusted. The hooks 10 may be engaged in the handles of suit cases &c. to be carried, or engaged over luggage racks in a railway compartment to provide an arm rest for a standing passenger.
