Abstract
536,150. Looms with automatic weft replenishment. TRIGGS, W. W. (Crompton & Knowles Loom Works). Dec. 13, 1939, No. 32143. [Class 142 (iii)] The weft W extending from the selvedge to the exhausted shuttle bobbin 46 is cut by a known type of cutter 40 and moved by a hook &c. 88 towards the intake 61 of a pneumatic thread extractor 50 operated by links &c. 54, 55 from lay 12. The hook &c. 88 may be inside the intake 61 or on one of both sides of it, and is operated by links &c. 81, 78, 75, 74, 72 from the transferrer lever 29. A thre accumulator 64 is placed between the intake and the pump 50. Specifications 503,063 and 507,8 and U.S.A. Specification 1,881,924 are referred to.
