Abstract

511,655. Race games. SMITH, H. Sept. 13, 1938, No. 26650. [Class 132 (ii)] A race game comprises an inclined track having at the raised end compartments from which are released by starting means capsules which thereupon roll down the track in an end-over-end tumbling movement. The track A is mounted on an adjustable stand D, E to vary the inclination and may be folded at B when not in use. The track A is provided with raised sides C to prevent the capsules L from rolling off and the starting means consists of a pivoted wire gate H, Fig. 3, operable by a trigger K. The capsules L of the form shown contain spherical balls M capable of free movement within them. Wedge shaped members N, bridge pieces .0 or other devices may be placed across the track to represent obstacles as in steeplechasing.
