Abstract
502,468. Loose-leaf binders. MANN, A., and COPELAND-CHATTERSON CO., Ltd. Oct. 10, 1938, No. 29321. [Class 146 (i)] Relates to wallets, such as are used for holding bankers' pass-book sheets, in which the sheets are held on posts, and more particularly to the means for retaining the sheets on theposts. The wallet consists of a sheet A, Figs. 1 and 2, of leather cloth &c. bearing filing- posts D. One margin of the sheet contains eyelets F, which pass over the posts when the margin is doubled over the sheets B. The opposite margin carries press-buttons G, which, when the wallet is folded, snap on to knobs d2, Fig. 7, formed at the top of the posts. The posts may have grooves d, which are engaged by a spring plate E, having apertures to pass over the posts, and serving to hold the sheets down. The eyelets F may be adapted to spring over the posts, which are in that case provided with a recessed portion d<3>, Fig. 8, to receive them.
