501,818. Sheep clippers. BRISTOW, F. G. W. Sept. 6, 1937, No. 24287. Convention date, May 20, 1937. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the . Acts, March 8, 1938.] [Class 131] In a sheep-shearing machine wherein a cutter 20. having teeth 29 is oscillated over a comb 6, tongues 24 on a flexiblepressure plate 19 engage slots 18 in the cutter teeth, the plate also bearing on the heel 25 of the cutter, to which part it may be secured. A pin 8 and knob 9 are used to adjust the pressure on the plate through the operating lever 10,-which may have a forked end 26 carrying i pins 27 engaging holes in the plate and cutter. Modified connections between the plate 19 and the cutter 20 are described.
