Abstract
501,137. Dry shavers. GENERAL SHAVER CORPORATION. Aug. 23, 1937, No. 23065. Convention date, March 2. [Class 131] In a dry shaver wherein a reciprocating inner cutter 18 is mounted by pins 16 on a spring-pressed member 14, the outer facesof the fixed outer cutter bars 13 have each intermediate their ends a channel 22 therein forming a thinned-out portion 23 bounded at both ends by substantial portions of the cutter bars. Figs. 4, 5 and 6 show modified forms of the fixed cutter bars 9b, 9c, 9e and the movable cutter bars 12b. 12c, 12e. Spring-pressed balls 19 are confined in recesses in a casing block 5 together with adjustable screw plugs 21. Specification 490,971 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also the constructions of cutters shown in Figs. 1, 4 and 8 (Cancelled). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
