Abstract
486,967. Revivifying gas-purifier waste. RUHRGAS AKT.-GES. Dec. 16, 1936, No. 34627. Convention date, Dec. 16, 1935. [Class 55 (ii)] Spent iron oxide is treated with steam at a temperature of 60-.120‹ C. in order to release oxides of nitrogen which have been absorbed from the gas. Oxygen may be added gradually to the steam to release sulphur. U.S.A. Specification 1,976,704 is referred to.
