451,257. Packages. SURREY CREAMERIES, Ltd., and HURLIMAN, P. E., Locks Lane, Mitcham, Surrey. Jan. 29, 1935, No. 2945. [Class 94 (i)1 In the wrapping of cheese, the constituent parts of the wrapper are disposed in a mould as shown in the Figure, molten cheese is poured in, and the wrapping completed during solidification. The mould is of prismatic shape, and may include a right angle at the base, and a rectangular piece of foil is laid in to form the sides 2, 3 and two flaps 4, 5. Two triangular end pieces 6, 7, form the ends of the package, they are similar in shape but greater than the end walls of the mould, and are placed with their edges 6A, 7A inturned along straight lines and overlapping the walls 2, 3. The pieces 6, 7 are lacquered on both sides, and the piece 2 ... 5 on the inner side only. When the cheese is poured in, the heat causes the lacquer to soften and the parts are adhered together. After turning down the edges 6c, 7c, along straight lines, the flap 5 is next folded and finally the flap 4. The flap 5 may be turned back at 5A to prevent the unlacquered edge from contacting with the cheese. A lid is pressed over the mould to flatten and compress the contents. Specification 317,968, [Class 94 (i)], is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 317,968.
