Abstract

438,817. Beer pipes. HALL, T., 93, Preston Old Road, Blackpool. Aug. 15, 1934, No. 23505. [Classes 99 (i) and 99 (ii)] A beer barrel is connected to the supply pipe A of a pump &c. by a telescopic pipe C and a swivelling coupling D, Fig. 1, which comprises a body member provided with two sockets in different planes and at right angles to each other, one socket receiving a horizontal plug member d in axial alignment with the pipe C and of the kind shown and the other a right-angled plug d<3> on the upper end of the pipe C. Fig. 6 shows a modified construction of coupling. The plug d may be secured to a ceiling junction B by a nut b or it may be integral therewith ; alternatively it is coupled direct to the pipe A, the latter being supported intermediate its ends. The lower end of the telescopic pipe C is also provided with a right-angled plug e to engage a coupling socket E on the barrel union F. Specification 394,972 is referred to.
