[Class 106 (v)] [See also Group VI] A drop-delivery device for injecting medicaments, nutritive or like substances e.g. into the blood stream, comprises a liquid reservoir 3 from which the liquid is displaced by air via a constant level device 1 through a drop counter 2 into chamber 6 from which the injection needle (not shown), is fed. An ampoule 8 may be connected to the reservoir 3 when a large quantity of liquid is to be administered. The rate of admission of air through inlet 11 into the reservoir 3, and hence the rate of dropping, is controlled by rotation of the coneshaped valve 9.
