Abstract

438,404. Bellows. JARVIS, W. A., 67, Wexford Avenue South, Hamilton, and JAMES, G. F., 72, James Street, North Hamilton, both in Ontario, Canada. March 11, 1935, No. 7546. [Class 8 (i)] A bellows pump for refrigerators is formed of annular oppositely dished metal plates 20 secured together at their inner and outer rims and secured at the ends to heads 10, 11 in one or both of which valve passages are provided. The elasticity of the plates 20 normally extends the bellows. The lower plate may be actuated through a cross-head 26 secured by a nut 27 in the form of a plug which reduces the clearance in the collapsed position.
