Abstract
400,766. Tins &c. ROBINSON, F. G., Canister Works, Southcoates Lane, Hull. Oct. 3, 1932, No. 27360. [Class 66.] Tins &c. for paint and the like are provided with screwed spigot-and-socket connections provided on the base of the upper tin and the lid of the lower one, enabling, them to be secured together superposed. The socketmember 8 may be provided as shown on the recessed bottom 6 of the upper container, the spigot part 3 being mounted on the dished lid 1 of the lower one. As shown, the spigot part comprises a neck portion and the socket part a closure cap therefor. A washer 10 may be interposed between the parts.
