Abstract

351,241. Protective cover for motorists' shoes. GIUNTINI, B., 72, Rue Miohelet, Alger, Algeria, France. June 23, 1930, No. 19039. [Class 17 (ii).] A protective cover for the heels of motorists' shoes &c. comprises a flexible inner cover 4 having means for attachment round the instep and a rigid or stout protector portion 1 mounted on the inner cover 4 and extending down the back of the shoe to the lower surface of the shoe and around the edge 2 thereof and having lateral projections 3 to protect the sides of the shoe. The protector 1 may be of metal with or without a portion extending under the heel and by its resiliency is suitable for shoes of different sizes. The lower portion of the protector 1 may have inward projections or hooks to engage the corners of the shoe heel.
