Games of chance.-An apparatus for playing a game of chance comprises a set of four or more tops or teetotums, three or more of which are arranged to be spun concurrently by one player, the remaining top or tops, comprising master tops, being spun by an opponent or opponents whilst the other tops are spinning, each top being provided with facets suitably inscribed with indicators or symbols, and a chart indicating the score attributable to each player according to the final positions of the three or more tops spun by the first player. The scoring tops 1, Fig. 3, for example, three in number, may have six sides each bearing a representation of fruit and the master top, Fig. 1, may have eight sides two of which bear representations of a Union Jack and an apis, respectively, the remaining sides being blank. The chart 3 indicates the scoring values s of various combinations of fruit presented uppermost when the scoring tops 1 come to rest. This score is doubled if the Union Jack on the master top comes uppermost, but is credited to the kitty if the apis comes uppermost. A set of trays is provided on which to spin the tops. A cabinet is provided to receive the accessories. Recesses in the bottom of the cabinet accommodate counters 6 and the tops. The chart is arranged in the lid.
