303,212. Holland, H. H. July 19, 1928. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Road-traffic signals on vehicles.-In a roadvehicle signaling device operated by the engine suction, one half or the other of a double-headed arrow sign 2 formed on a hollow slide 1 is moved in front of a fixed lamp 14 by means of a piston 5 sliding in a fixed cylinder 7 and connected to the slide 1 by a rod 6. A three-way cock connects the engine suction either to the end 13 of the cylinder by a pipe 12 or to a mid-point 11 by a pipe 10, and thus controls the movement of the slide 1. The vacuum in the cylinder is released when the cock-handle is in neutral position, air being admitted through a bore in the cock, and the slide is withdrawn by a spring 15.
