Abstract

289,003. M³ller, P. April 19, 1927, [Convention date]. Heating by electricity.-Hot air &c. is forced into the outlet of a bunker beneath the material bridged over the outlet, in order to thaw ice which has formed between the lumps of ore &c. For this purpose, one or more heating chambers a fitted with electrical heating elements are provided on the bunker. Air is blown through these chambers from pipes f and a three-way cock at c first vents any water that may be in the pipe f and when turned further admits air to the heater and closes a switch controlling the heating current.
