Trawling-gear.-The vertical struts or " danlenos " used for spreading apart the head and ground ropes of traw and seine nets are replaced by a triangular member or structure a, c<1>, c<2>, of which the side members c<1>, c<2>, may be formed of sealed tubes. Bobbins, rollers or other antifriction devices may be mounted on the base member a. Ropes or wires connected to each end of the base a are secured to the ground rope of the net; another rope connects the appex of frame to the head rope. The ground wire leading to the otter board is connected to a bracket formed by three guys secured to each angle of the frame.
