Abstract

199,972. Gordon, W., and Barbour & Sons, Ltd., W. July 31, 1922. Nets.-Stop netting 5 for tennis or similar purposes is supported by wires or ropes 3 suspended between posts 1, the connection between the wires or ropes 3 and the netting being effected by means of suspension cords 6 which vary in length to make the top of the netting approximately parallel to the ground. The bottom of the netting is held down by a rope 8 to which lead sinkers may be attached. The posts 1 are supported on plates 2 and held in an upright position by stays 1<a>.
