Abstract

The mobile spa unit comprises steam 4.1, sauna 4.2 and shower facilities. It may use reverse osmosis water purification. It may be powered by solar, battery or other off-grid power source. It may use the inversion of power. It can be fully mobile, self-contained and self-powered. It may be contained in a waterproofed wet room style cabin, built on a trailer. The structure may be fabricated from welded light steel 2 which is insulated and cladded 3.1. A control panel contains a battery 5.1 connected to an inverter, which provides power to the spa. The shower runs through an electric water heater 5.5. The steam generator flue vertically vents out of the roof, with the main extractor fan running parallel. A water tank 5.8 delivers water to the steam room and shower. The steam generator delivers to a steam outlet 6.1. Two drainage points 6.3 lead to waste tanks 6.4 fitted underneath.

Description

Mobile health spa This invention relates to the design, construction and facilitation of mobile health spa units.
There are many scientific and clinical studies supporting the benefits of using spa facilities. Whether promoting general health and wellbeing, specific programs targeting medical issues, or to assist with recovery from physical and/or mental trauma.
Unfortunately such help is not available to everyone. There are many preventative issues, ranging from accessibility, initial fitting costs, running costs, space, maintenance and privacy.
This invention solves many of these issues.
This spa features a sauna, steam room and experience shower, utilising reverse osmosis purified water. It is fully mobile, self contained and self powered.
The spa is contained in a waterproofed wet room style cabin, built on a trailer(1). The structure is fabricated from welded light steel(2), which is insulated and cladded(3.1). Access via doors(3.2). The roof is box metal sheeting(3.3).
The steam room(4.1) and sauna(4.2) are situated at opposing ends of the building with an experience shower(4.3)fitted in the central recreation area with seating(4.4) The control panel (5) is located behind the sauna and is accessible from the rear.
The control panel(5) is located at the end face of the building, is concealed and sealed. Within the control panel is a battery(5.1) connected to an inverter(5.2) which provides power to the sauna, steam generator, lighting and extraction. The sauna is connected via a 13a plug socket(5.3) the steam generator is hard wired to the inverter(5.4). The shower runs through an electric water heater(5.5). The steam generator flue(5.6) is vertically venting out of the roof, with the main extractor fan(5.7) running parallel. There is a water tank(5.8) delivering reverse osmosis purified water to the steam room and shower via a 12v 5pm pump(5.9). The floor has been fully waterproofed, with plumbing from the control room leading to the appliances, then to waste water tanks fitted underneath shown in figure 6 The steam generator delivers via underlaid pipe to the steam outlet(6.1). The shower pipe runs behind the wall (6.2). There are two drainage points(6.3) leading to the waste tanks fitted underneath (6.4).

  1. Claims 1. A mobile spa unit featuring steam, sauna and shower facilities.
  2. 2. A mobile spa unit according to claim 1 using reverse osmosis water purification.
  3. 3. A mobile spa unit according to claim 1 which is powered by solar, battery or other off grid power source.
  4. 4. A mobile spa unit according to claims 1 and 3 which uses the inversion of power.
