Abstract

263,407. Miller, F. C. June 23, 1926. Gaiters; leggings. - Gaiters, leggings, boots. and like articles of wearing-apparel are made, as shown, with an elastic panel b, arranged behind and bridging meeting edges a', and provided with elastic strainers c. The strainers may be attached to the fabric of the garment at the position of attachment of the panel and pass outwards through holes d, as shown in Fig. 1, or may be concealed behind the meeting edges one arrangement of which is shown in Fig. 4. In another construction, the strainers pass upwardy through holes in the panel. A strainer d' may be added at the top of the leg.
