Combinations.-In combinations with an opening at the crotch. normally closed by overlapping front portions, the top stitching a of the crotch is continued right across the back of the garment as at f and such stiching is in the form of flat lock stitching or the equivalent and preferably as shown in Fig. 4 with two lavers of fabric only at the seam, there being no doubling-in of the raw edge at the seam. The stitching ensures equal stretching transversely of the garment along the whole line of said bitching.
