Internal fittings.-A bottle, jar, or like lid A provided with a perforated box for holding hygroscopic material is formed with a central depression a provided on its outer walls with a number of spirally arranged projections or lugs a<1> which are adapted to be engaged by similar projections b on the inner surface of the wall of the perforated box B so that when the box is located within the lid and rotated relatively to it, the box and lid are secured together by a wedging action. The box is formed with a flat flange b<1> which is pressed against the packing washer C in the lid when the box is secured thereto.
