Description

PROTECTIVE CONCERTINA WASHING COVER This invention relates to a protective concertina washing cover.

Covers are used to protect most things, giving you the option to leave them out in all weathers, thus maintaining the protectiveness you require for garden furniture, materials, and trailers. Most require pegging to the ground, or rope threaded through eyelets and fastened. rubber bands are also often used, which fasten on to hooks, these are the only wa-ys available at present.

According to the present invention, there are fixed and moving Parts to allow for the continuous use, and smooth action which would counteract the outdoor elements, these are a fixed runner line,a tunnel shaped concertina cover, three fixing points of fastening / securing to each line post.

The tunnel shaped concertina- cover will run on pulley wheels, fixed to the semi-circular frames of the cover which then is secured on to the runner line, anda pull cord is used to draw the cover open and shut when needed.

A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which; Figure 1 shows the protective concertina washing cover in position and fully open.

Figure 2 shows protective concertina washing cover in a closed position with securing strap.

Reffering to the drawings of the protective concertina washing cover, it comprises of the runner line 11 which is tensioned 9 fixed to nost 13 & post 21, as in fig 1.

The tunnel shaped concertina cover 10, APPROX SIZE B metres long 1 metre in depth & So centimetres in width, this will fasten to the tensioned runner line 11, by guide runner wheels 14, thus fastened to the semi-circular framE work 27, as shown in fig 2, will give the freedom & movement also the height 24 needed to cover the washing line 19, & maintain acequete air circulation to washing area 23 as in fig 2, fixings are madr between securing lines 15 to bracket 16 on line post 21, to secure fixed end 22 bermanently as shown , fig 2.

Ry culling cord 12, the cover lc will draw to post 13 as arrow 25shows, it will fully open o.t - cove 1 as 1 fig it is ready to make the final fastening betwee securing lines 15 & bracket 17 post 13, as shown in fig 2 then tie off line 12 to book 24 on post 13. a three point fixing is made as shown in fig 1.

9y relapsing eyes 15 off hook on bracket 17, & undo cord 12 from post 13, & pulling cord 20 the whole cover @ill close to post 21 as shown in fig2, there will be a rctaining strap 25, which will hold cover 1C when not in use.

1 A protective concertina washing cover, consists of fixed and moving parts to allow for the continuous use, and smooth action which would counteract the outdoor elements, these are a fixed runner line, a tunnel shaped concertina cover, three points of fastening / securing to each line post.

The tunnel shaoed concertina cover will run on Pulley wheels, fixed to the semi-circular frames of the cover which then is sercured on to the runner line, and a pull cord is used tL draw the cover open and shut when needed.
