In a tent, Fig. 1, comprising a cover 1 mounted at its corners on uprights as shown, the cover is provided with a central opening 5 which is bounded by a looped anchorage rope 4 for cover tensioning purposes. In a modification, Fig. 6, the apertured cover 9 is provided with loops 14a, 14b suspended from a mast 8. For a like construction having a single loop suspended from a mast, Fig. 5 (not shown) should be referred to.
