Abstract
237,804. Samson, K. Jan. 15, 1925. Plastic compositions containing oxychlorides.- A fireproof coating composition for iron and wood, to be either applied like plaster or pressed into plates, is made by mixing fine wood-meal with talc containing not more than 5 per cent of lime and allowing the mixture to stand for a time, then adding magnesite containing not more than 2 per cent of lime, and finally moistening with magnesium chloride solution of 18‹ BÚ. Suitable proportions are 4 kgs. of wood-meal, 1 kg. of talc, and 7 kgs. of magnesite.
