Abstract

Flexible sheet material is impervious to water vapour and is shaped to provide, on at least one face, alternating, substantially parallel ridges (5) and valleys (6). The material has a cellular foam structure (1). The material may form a component of, for instance, articles of clothing, footwear, headgear and sound proofing and insulating material.
