Abstract
A flood barrier comprises a UPVC channel 1, a UPVC gate and waterseals 2,3. The UPVC gate may be slid into the channel 1 which may be fixed to the walls and floor of a door entrance, e.g by bolts. The seals 2,3 may be fixed to the external and internal sides of the channel 1. The external seal 2 may be a flexible soft PVC seal which when tightened prevents water ingress between the channel and the door entrance. The internal seal 3 may be a ribbed PVC seal between the channel and the gate. Two channels may be bolted together to provide a barrier for a wider doorway, e.g patio door.
Description
2364342 FLOOD BARREER This invention relates to an anti-flOW barrier for
use across doorways. A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reievence to the enclosed drawings.
