Abstract

229,969. Davidson, J. Feb. 12, 1924. Pumps : two-stroke-cycle engines.-Two sets of twincylinder engines are charged by two pumps, the admission to and delivery from the two pumps being controlled by a single piston valve. Each pair of pistons works on one crank pin, the cylinders 1, 2 and 1<a>, 2<a>, being arranged on each side of the shaft and staggered. The pump cylinders 11, 11<a> are at the sides of the working cylinders.
