Abstract

145,209. Dickson, H. C. May 1, 1919. Connecting-rods.-In a double-acting engine having outside connecting-rods, the piston controls terminal mixture inlet and outlet ports located in each combustion space. Two rows of doubleacting cylinders may be disposed in the form of a V, as shown in Fig. 1, the pistons being connected to a single crank shaft by rods f, attached to T-shaped members g mounted upon the crankpins.
