Description

CHRISTMAS TREE REMOVAL This invention relates to Christmas Tree Removal.
It is well known that Christmas Trees shed needles during their period of use, and particularly when they are moved for disposal. Although various ideas have been used to alleviate this difficulty, they have had limited effect.
Both sprays, and special types of tree are relatively expensive and have not completely solved the problem.
According to the present invention there is provided a disposable sack with closure means (not shown) at the top, and an opening in the base of an appropriate size to accommodate a Christmas Tree trunk.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way ol example with references to the accompanying drawings in which Figure 1 shows an overhead view of the invention with base opening.
Figure 2 shows the invention in position.
Figure 3 shows the invention in the closed position for tree disposal.
Referring to the drawings the invention comprises a disposable sack 1 with closure means (not shown) at the top and an opening 2 in the base as shown in Fig 1.
In order to utilise the invention, the trunk of the Christmas Tree is placed through the opening 2 in the base prior to positioning in a pot or stand.
The invention is able to be arranged, as shown in Fig 2.
In order to dispose of the tree 3 the invention is extended up and over the tree and closed at the top as shown in Fig 3.

Claims (2)

1. A disposable sack with closure means at the top and an opening in the base of an appropriate size to accommodate a Christmas Tree trunk.
2. A disposable sack as in Claim 1. where the opening is reinforced.
