Abstract

212,195. Hobbies, Ltd., and Jewson, H. Sept. 18, 1823. Rackets. - A metal-framed tennis or similar racket is fitted with a four-point crescent-shaped girder bar B attached to the frame by rivets b'. The girder is preferably U-shaped in cross-section and embraces four lugs D riveted to the frame. The strings are threaded through the girder bar. and are protected in their passage through the frame, more especially at the head of the racket, by U-shaped tubular metal ferrules E. Specification 210,485 is referred to.
