219,907. Jenkins, W. J. April 7, 1924. Buffers. - Shock-absorbers applicable for motor vehicles having transverse springs comprises a bolt 1 passing through apertures in plates 5, 12 secured respectively to the chassis an axle and provided with two springs, one 21 being arranged between the head &c. 2 of the bolt and the plate 5 and the other arranged between the plate 12 and the nut &c. 3 of the bolt. Other forms of plates and securing means are described.
