Abstract

The tackle trolley combines rod- carrying tubes with a tacklebox- carrying chassis using two shaped brackets. The combination saves weight and can float. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION The pakital trolley Is an anglers Tackle Trolley designed to carry his tacklebox, Groundbait bucket, Brolly and rods etc.
The rods in plastic tubes which have been combined with a steel chassis to form one unit. The number of tubes offered will be 3.4.5. or 6. all combined to the basically same chassis.
To combine tubes and chassis to one unit it was essential to find a method of combination which would give an adequate amount of joint strength, also to design a chassis with which to combine it.
It differs from what has been done before before by combining rod carrying tubes, with a tacklebox carrying chassis. Both these being available in various forms as entirely separate articles. The weight saving over two separate articles being quite significant and important when it may have to be pulled maybe 2 miles to a match peg. Another main difference is that the "Pakital" trolley floats should it roll down a river bank, and indeed would support the weight of a person if in difficulty in water.
The main embodiments are the semi Hardwood Blocks inside the ends of the tubes, capped on the outside and drilled through to accept the steel spindle, the tubes being slid onto this by the required amount. The tubes are then held together at the bottom end by the two
shaped plastic coated steel chassis members bolted through the two outer edge tubes with extra strength and rigidity being obtained by the two cross members, one being of angle to bolt through between tubes as spacers and also to a back plate.
The top end also has bolt spacers passing through between tubes and also securing a clamp type unit to which the plastic covered steelrod handle is attached to pivot.
1. The inventorship and exclusive rights of use of design construction and method of combining through the two
shaped brackets, a tacklebox platform with rod holding tubes to form an anglers trolley.
