Abstract

A telescopic handle for a fishing aid, such as a landing net, gaff hook, rod rest or a bank stick, comprising co-axial inner and outer members 10, 11 which are axially and rotatably adjustably relative to each other, and which are so shaped, for example elliptically, in cross section, that relative rotation in one direction causes locking, and rotation in the opposite direction causes unlocking to permit axial adjustment. <IMAGE>
